Bible Education
The Bible speaks numerously about the knowledge of God and its importance to our daily living as believers. Not only are we to grow in grace, but also in the knowledge of God. Jesus’ prayer to the father reveals that the knowledge of God yields eternal life. The Apostle Peter explains that we receive everything necessary for life and godliness through the knowledge of God.
Bible Education is an integral part of all activities of this ministry. It is our desire to disseminate the revelation of the knowledge of God, as influenced by the Holy Spirit, which produces transformation and a renewing of the mind during all our weekly services. This is essential to Christian maturity and a fulfillment of the function and purpose of the five fold ministries.
In Paul’s letter to Titus where he said, “Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.” And Peter’s letter to the church, “But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvelous light:”, speak of the children of God functioning effectively through the provision of the redemptive work of Jesus Christ. We believe every provision is available for the Church, and therefore individual member of the body of Christ, to live holy lives in this very sinful world. It it time for the lives of believers to conform to scriptures.
Believers do not have to fall at every temptation, because we will learn through the knowledge of God’s words that when we walk in the spirit, we do not fulfill the desires of the flesh, and when we submit to God, resist the devil, he flees from us. We will teach, pray, and live by these principles of the word of God. We believe the Church must be that committed to Jesus Christ, as this character is a symbol of the Church preparing for the imminent return of our Lord and Savior – he is near; the Lord is near.
